SEOUL, July 17 (Yonhap) -- Singer-songwriter Ahn Ye-eun released a new digital single titled "Jibak" at 6 p.m. on Thursday, her agency DSP Media said.
The track, inspired by the concept of jibakryeong—a spirit bound to a specific place—evokes a cool, eerie atmosphere, staying true to her signature "summer horror series" style. "Jibak" is the sixth installment in the annual series, following previous releases such as "Neungsohwa," "Chang-gwi," "Rat," "Hongryeon," and "Scissors."
Ahn took part in writing, composing, and arranging the track, which also includes a Japanese version with lyrics she helped translate herself.
