SEOUL, April 15 (Yonhap) -- Lotte Department Store said Wednesday it has opened the first official boutique in South Korea for Swiss high-end clock brand L’Epée 1839 at its main store’s Avenuel luxury hall.
Located on the fourth floor, the boutique marks the brand’s first standalone store in the country. L’Epée 1839 is a Swiss luxury table clock brand operated by LVMH, known for transforming intricate mechanical watchmaking into artistic objects.

Lotte said the launch aims to offer differentiated content in the high-end watch market by introducing a brand that enjoys a strong reputation among global collectors.
The store showcases a wide range of collections that highlight the brand’s technical expertise, from entry-level models priced between 15 million won and 40 million won to high-end limited editions exceeding 100 million won, crafted with elaborate techniques.
It also offers customized services tailored to customer preferences, along with a private room designed to provide a premium luxury experience.

Featured models include "Albatros," priced at 248 million won, "Balthazar" at 119 million won, and "Time Fast II" at 86 million won.
