SEOUL January 17 (Yonhap) -- DSP media and Kakao Entertainment has successfully signed a distribution contract regarding 20 billion won worth the music content.
DSP Media withholds intellectual property of Kara, SS501, Sechskies and more various artists from 1990s to 2000s. Currently K-pop group Kard, Mirae and more are part of DSP Media.
20 billion won worth the contract exceeds the overall annual sales of DSP Media by 200 percent.
Through the contract with Kakao Entertainment, DSP Media will focus on the upcoming activities of both Kard and Mirae, and look over the reunification of Gavy NJ and looking for upcoming artists.
