SEOUL, September 7 (Yonhap) -- Disney Plus will be releasing the fantasy thriller drama "Connect," one of the most anticipated works in this year's lineup, this winter.
Disney Plus announced on Wednesday that "Connect", starring actors Jung Hae-in, Go Kyung-pyo, and Kim Hye-jun, will be released in December.
"Connect" depicts the story of Dong-su, a new racial Connect who has an immortal body, being kidnapped by an organ-trafficking organization and losing one eye. He later finds out that his eye has been transplanted to a serial killer who has made a lot of waves in Korea and chases him.
Director Takashi Miike, called the master of genre movies, took charge of this show. It is the first time director Takashi Miike has produced a Korean show.
Jung Hae-in plays Dong-su, the immortal human, and expresses various emotions in extreme situations.
