SEOUL, Nov. 14 (Yonhap) -- ADOR, the agency representing NewJeans, confirmed on the 14th that it had received the formal notice from the group, which threatened to terminate their contracts unless specific demands were met.
In a statement, ADOR said, “We received the notice this morning and are currently reviewing the specific requests contained within it.”
The agency added, “We are committed to resolving this matter wisely to ensure we can continue working with our artists.”
ADOR also reiterated that Min Hee-jin, the former CEO, has denied any involvement in the rumors surrounding a publicly traded company and family connections of NewJeans members.
“Director Min has once again confirmed that there is no truth to these rumors, including questions about any connection between NewJeans members’ relatives and the said company or any meetings with its representatives,” ADOR stated.

In the notice sent the previous day, the five NewJeans members demanded an official apology from the manager who reportedly told Hanni to “ignore it,” along with the reinstatement of former CEO Min Hee-jin.
They warned that if these issues were not resolved within 14 days, they would terminate their exclusive contracts with ADOR.
