SEOUL, May 26 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group ITZY will drop their new mini album "Girls Will Be Girls" on July 9, their agency JYP Entertainment announced on Monday.
This marks the group’s first album release in approximately eight months since Gold, which came out in October last year.
The upcoming album will feature five tracks, including the title song Girls Will Be Girls, as well as Kiss & Tell, Promise, and Walk.
An album trailer released earlier portrays the members on a journey to revive Ryujin’s halted heartbeat. The video also features an appearance by JYP’s chief producer Park Jin-young.
Ahead of their comeback, ITZY is scheduled to perform at several university festivals this month, including events at Konkuk University, Inha University, and Kyung Hee University.
