SEOUL, Jan. 10 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group VVUP is set to release their special digital single "4 Life" on Friday at 6 p.m. across major music streaming platforms.
"4 Life" is an R&B track brimming with vibrant energy of VVUP, with members Kim, Pan, Suyeon, and Jiyoon. The single evokes the thrill and certainty of falling in love, according to its agency Ego Entertainment.
This release marks a significant moment for the group as it is the first track featuring new member Jiyoon, following the reorganization of VVUP into a four-member team.
"4 Life" represents VVUP's debut exploration into R&B soundscapes, adding a fresh dimension to their music.
To celebrate the single, VVUP will release special videos on their official YouTube channel on the 10th and 13th. These videos are a heartfelt gift to fans who have supported the group since their official debut in April of last year.
The single also boasts the involvement of renowned K-pop hitmaker earattack, who has worked with VVUP on tracks like "Doo Doom Chit," "Locked On," and "Ain't Nobody." Earattack contributed to both the composition and arrangement of "4 Life," further elevating the song's quality.
