SM Entertainment to hold ‘Global SM Audition’ Tour

SEOUL, Jan. 12 (Yonhap) – South Korean multinational entertainment agency SM Entertainment will be running a global audition tour titled the “2023 SM Global Audition,” according to the agency Thursday.

The tour will begin in Seoul on Jan. 28, followed by stops in Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, and Dajeon. The tour will then move its stage to the six cities in Japan. The schedules for the upcoming auditions in Japan and other countries will be announced in due time.

According to the poster also released Thursday, the audition will be held in 9 other countries, including Thailand, the U.S., Canada, and the U.A.E.

Anyone born between the years 2004 and 2012 can apply for one of the four categories – vocal, dance, rap, and acting –, either as an individual or group. The agency has been accepting its online pre-registration form at the "2023 SM Global Audition" website since Wednesday.
