SEOUL, Feb. 10 (Yonhap) -- Netflix’s Korean-based reality television series “Single’s Inferno,” also dubbed as the Korean version of “Bachelor in Paradise,” has been confirmed to return for a third season.

Netflix announced on Friday that its hit dating show, featuring singles looking for love while living together on a deserted island called “Inferno,” will be hitting the small screens once again. The only way to escape the island and head to the so-called “Paradise,” consisting of extravagant suites in luxury hotels, is to form a couple with another contestant.

The second season gained global popularity by gathering a cumulative viewing time of 65.08 million hours over four weeks since its release on Dec. 13, 2022, racing far ahead of the viewing time of the first season (62.2 million hours).

The production crew said, “‘Single’s Inferno’ will return for the third time with more brand-new and mesmerizing cast members,” adding, “There are some new rules and changes in store for Season 3, making the show much more original and unpredictable than before.”
