THE BOYZ Releases Final Single Before Leaving Current Agency

SEOUL, Dec. 2 (Yonhap) -- THE BOYZ has unveiled a winter special single to celebrate the season. 

Continuing their annual tradition of releasing a commemorative seasonal song in December for their debut anniversary, the group has dropped a special album titled Last Kiss. This album marks a heartfelt farewell as they share their seventh winter with fans.

Last Kiss is an expression of gratitude for their fans’ unwavering love and encapsulates the desire to be remembered as a first and last love. The album features three tracks: the title song Last Kiss, Candle Light, and Winter Sleep.

The title track Last Kiss is a nostalgic dance song that blends the warmth of winter with the sentimentality of 90s old-school K-pop. With orchestral samples and retro dance beats, it creates an upbeat yet wistful atmosphere. Renowned producers such as Zayson—who has worked with NCT DREAM and Suran—Etham Basden, Moon Kim, and Hautboi Rich contributed to the track. Member Eric participated in the lyric writing.

Following the conclusion of their third world tour, Generation II, THE BOYZ achieved half a million sales with their ninth mini-album, PHANTASY: Overload, released in October. The title track, TRIGGER, also entered Melon’s Top 100 and ranked highly on major domestic and international music charts.

All members of THE BOYZ have reportedly signed with ONE HUNDRED, a company established by singer MC Mong and the parent agency of Big Planet Made, INB100, and Million Market. The group will officially begin their activities under ONE HUNDRED later this month.
