SEOUL, April 6 (Yonhap) -- SBS TV's Monday-Tuesday drama "Business Proposal," which is said to have shown the potential of Korean rom-com dramas, ended with a viewer rating of 11 percent.

The final episode of “Business Proposal,” which aired on April 5, at 10 p.m., recorded a viewer rating of 11.4 percent, according to a rating research company Nielsen Korea on Wednesday.

The last episode showed a happy ending in which Kang Tae-mu(Ahn Hyo-seop) and Shin Ha-ri(Kim Se-jeong) received permission from their families and promised to get married.

"A Business Proposal" is a work depicting the story of an ordinary food researcher, Shin Ha-ri (Kim Se-jeong), who meets Kang Tae-mu (Ahn Hyo-seop), the CEO of her company on a blind date that she went instead of her friend.

The storyline of a rich man and a bright heroine can be rather childish and cliche, but the characters and the comic elements that seem to have popped out of the romance comics increased the viewers’ immersion.

A love triangle, a trademark of existing rom coms, did not account for a large portion in the "Business Proposal," which increased the fun of seeing the romance between each couple in the series, rather than giving tension from the competition between lovers.

Furthermore, Jin Yeong-seo(Seol In-ah) and Cha Sung-hun(Kim Min-kyu) received attention from the beginning of their relationship by showing a different charm from the main couple with deep romantic scenes.

Supporting characters such as Kang Da-koo (Lee Deok-hwa), a chairman who enjoys crazy dramas, and another company couple Yeo Eui-ju (Kim Hyun-sook) and Gye-bin (Im Ki-hong), also showed off their uniqueness, adding to the richness of the play.

Meanwhile, tvN’s “Military Prosecutor Doberman” and KBS 2TV’s “Crazy Love,” which aired on the same day, recorded a viewer rating of 7.4% and 3%, respectively.
