SEOUL, August 24 (Yonhap) -- Girl group MAMAMOO’s member Moonbyul and Solar are becoming first unit group “MAMAMOO+” and will release single album on Aug. 30, their agency RBW Entertainment said on Aug. 30.

MAMAMOO drew attention with the fake documentary video about how the unit was formed.

RBW said, “Moonbyul and Solar have demonstrated their vocal abilities and various charms not just through MAMAMOO activities but also through solo album, collaboration, OST, musical, and variety shows,” adding, “Unit name ‘MAMAMOO+’ has the meaning to show various concepts and music and not just be limited to original MAMAMOO style.”
