SEOUL, Dec. 3 (Yonhap) -- Rapper Microdot is making a comeback with his new single "Not A City Boy," set to be released at noon today on various online music platforms.

The single "Not A City Boy" critiques and satirizes those who pretend to be tough, delivering a sharp lyrical message.

The track features Anandelight, a talented and distinctive rapper who gained recognition for his standout performances on "Show Me The Money Season 10" in 2021, where he reached the semifinals. Known for his dynamic rapping and stage presence, Anandelight has also been active in genres like CCM, with works such as "Yo! Ho! Wow!"

This release follows Microdot’s extended hiatus and his apology during the June showcase of his EP "Dark Side," marking the official restart of his career after a period of self-reflection.

Microdot, who had gained popularity through appearances on Channel A’s variety show "The Fishermen and the City," halted all activities in 2018 following controversy over his parents’ debt-related scandal. He allegedly has since been repaying the debts.
