SEOUL, June 13 (Yonhap) -- The official BTS fan club "ARMY" and numerous K-pop fans gathered in the Songpa District of Seoul for the offline event "2024 FESTA," filling the area to capacity.
"FESTA" is an annual celebration where BTS commemorates their debut date, June 13, with their fans. This year, the event took place at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium within the Jamsil Sports Complex in Songpa District, Seoul.
The surroundings of the gymnasium were packed with global BTS fans, many using parasols to shield themselves from the strong sunlight.
To mark the climax of the festival, Jin, who was discharged from the military on June 12, attended the offline event.

The fan event with Jin, is set to be held at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium, was organized at Jin's suggestion to spend meaningful time up close with ARMY. The event includes two segments: "Jin’s Greetings" (Part 1) and "Seokjin on June 13, 2024, Weather: Clear" (Part 2).
Part 1 features a hug session for 1,000 fans, while Part 2 has various segments showcasing different sides of Jin, to create special memories for fans. For those unable to attend in person, the second part, "Seokjin on June 13, 2024, Weather: Clear," will be live-streamed on Weverse for BTS fan club members.

In addition to Jin's fan event, the "2024 FESTA" ground event runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the futsal field and sports park area within Seoul Sports Complex. The ground event features diverse experience programs open to all attendees, including upcycling crafts, a "Random BTS Lyrics" draw, and small photo zones.
The celebration is designed to bring together fans from around the world, providing a memorable day of festivities, connection, and shared love for BTS.
