The online free concert "SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU EXPRESS@KWANGYA," planned by K-Pop Powerhouse SM Entertainment for the New Year of 2022, recorded about 51 million streams in 161 regions around the world (based on Beyond LIVE access), SM announced on the 2nd.
The concert aired through various platforms including YouTube and Beyond LIVE.
At the concert SM singers, including GOT the beat, Super Junior, SHINee, NCT, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, Espa, Girls' Generation, Red Velvet, and WayV, performed about 40 songs.
DJ HYO, J.E.B., MINIMONSTER, MARVISTA, and Hitchhiker appeared in the DJing section.
The concert has been designed as a free performance to comfort fans around the world tired of the prolonged pandemic, SM said.
