Stray Kids, BLACKPINK’s Jennie to headline U.S. 'The Governors Ball'

SEOUL, Jan. 7 (Yonhap) -- Stray Kids and BLACKPINK member Jennie will headline the major U.S. music festival "The Governors Ball Music Festival."

The festival’s organizers announced the lineup, including the two K-pop acts, via official social media channels on Wednesday.

"The Governors Ball" is a large-scale outdoor music festival held every summer in New York. Past headliners include Eminem, Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Lizzo and Tyler, The Creator.

This year’s festival will take place June 5–7 (local time) at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in New York.

Stray Kids and Jennie will headline the June 6 and June 7 performances, respectively. HYBE’s Korea-U.S. joint girl group KATSEYE is scheduled to perform on the opening day, June 5.
