SEOUL, June 18 (Yonhap) -- In response to the High Court’s rejection of NewJeans members' appeal against a court ruling prohibiting them from independent activities, their agency ADOR stated, “We hope this becomes an opportunity for the members to return to their rightful place as NewJeans and resume their activities.”

ADOR said on Wednesday, “Yesterday, there was a ruling in the appellate trial that once again clearly confirmed ADOR as the agency of NewJeans.”

The Seoul High Court’s Civil Division 25-2 (Presiding Judges Hwang Byung-ha, Jung Jong-gwan, and Lee Kyun-yong) dismissed on the 17th the appeal filed by NewJeans members against the injunction that prohibited them from entering into advertising contracts and acting independently from their agency.

ADOR stated, “We are deeply grateful for the court’s judgment,” and added, “As NewJeans approaches the third anniversary of their debut next month, the company will do its utmost to support them in making greater leaps and achieving continued growth.”
