SEOUL, April 14 (Yonhap) — South Korean trot-pop singer Lim Young-woong will release his new song "More Beautiful Than Heaven" at 6 p.m. on Sunday, his agency said.
The track serves as the original soundtrack (OST) for the JTBC weekend drama of the same name. A lyrical ballad, the song blends warm, sentimental lyrics with Lim’s signature mellow vocals, according to his agency, Mulgogi Music.
“I carefully chose a drama that I could enjoy together with my fans,” Lim said of the release. “I wanted to convey the emotional depth of the series through music.”
The drama "More Beautiful Than Heaven" is set to premiere at 10:40 p.m. on April 19. It tells the story of Lee Hae-sook (played by Kim Hye-ja), who arrives in heaven at the age of 80, and reunites with her husband Go Nak-joon (Son Suk-ku), who has returned to his 30s, as they embark on a romantic journey.
