SEOUL, May 17 (Yonhap) -- Vocal powerhouse Lee Young-hyun of the group Big Mama is set to release a remake of her beloved solo ballad “Kite” (Korean title: “Yeon”) on June 21, her agency HO Entertainment announced Friday.

Originally included on Big Mama’s third full-length album released in 2006, “Kite” metaphorically portrays the lingering attachment to a past lover as a kite soaring in the sky.

Lee’s updated version comes 19 years after its original release and is part of a collaboration with the popular Naver webtoon “The Fairy's Side Story.”
