SEOUL, May 14 (Yonhap) -- Virtual K-pop girl group ISEGYE IDOL is set to perform at Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome, marking the first time a virtual idol group has taken the stage at the iconic venue.
According to KT Genie Music on Wednesday, ISEGYE IDOL will perform at the "ISEGYE Festival 2025," a two-day music event taking place from May 16 to 17 at Gocheok Sky Dome.
Hosted by their agency, Parable Entertainment, the festival first began in 2023 at Songdo Moonlight Festival Park in Incheon, featuring a mix of K-pop artists and virtual idols.
ISEGYE IDOL will headline the second day of the festival on May 17. This performance marks the first time a virtual idol group will take the stage at the 20,000-seat dome.
Other acts performing on the same day include 10CM, Sunmi, BOYNEXTDOOR, tripleS, and Japanese idol group AKB48. On May 16, the lineup includes Taeyang, Chuu, rock band Guckkasten, K-pop boy group The Boyz, American singer-songwriter Keshi, and Japanese virtual duo HIMEHINA.
