SEOUL, Mar. 8 (Yonhap) -- Moon Joon-young (33), the leader of the idol group ZE:A, was caught by the police while driving under the influence.

According to Yonhap News coverage on Tuesday, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station booked Moon on Monday on charges of drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act.

Moon was allegedly caught for driving drunk in Sinsa-dong neighborhood, Gangnam, on March 6 at 1:16 a.m.

Moon reportedly drove the wrong way and quarreled with a driver coming from the other side on a one-way road. The driver who smelled alcohol and suspected drunk driving reported Moon to the police.

The idol member’s blood-alcohol level was much higher than the accepted limit, equivalent to driver’s license cancellation.

The police said, "We sent Moon home after identifying him and plan to call him later to investigate the details of the incident.”
