SEOUL, May 9 (Yonhap) -- Girl group aespa’s 3rd mini-album "MY WORLD" sold 1,372,929 copies on the first day of release based on Hanteo Chart, setting a new K-pop girl group record, according to its agency SM Entertainment on Tuesday.
"MY WORLD" has recorded 1.8 million pre-orders, signaling an early rise to a million seller. As a result, aespa has made over 1 million sales in two consecutive albums following its previous work "Girls."
