SEOUL, Aug. 8 (Yonhap) -- Top actress Han Ji-min (42) and singer Choi Jung-hoon (32), lead vocalist of the band Jannabi, and are confirmed to be in a romantic relationship.
On the 8th, Peponi Music, Jannabi's agency, announced, "Choi Jung-hoon and Han Ji-min are dating." According to the music industry, their relationship began about a year ago in August when Han Ji-min appeared on KBS 2TV's music program 'The Seasons - Choi Jung-hoon's Night Park,' where Choi was the MC.
During the show, the two performed a duet of Jannabi's song 'Thoughts on a Fall Night.' They maintained a good relationship since then, eventually developing into a romantic one.
Han Ji-min debuted in the entertainment industry in 1998 through a commercial and has had a 26-year career, starring in various dramas and films such as 'Dae Jang Geum,' 'Yi San,' 'Capital Scandal,' and 'Our Blues.' She is set to appear as a CEO of a headhunting company in the upcoming SBS drama 'Insa.'
Choi Jung-hoon debuted as the vocalist of Jannabi in 2014 with the single 'Rocket,' and has led the team for the past decade. Jannabi has gained popularity with their lyrical and sensuous lyrics and melodies, producing hit songs like 'For Lovers Who Hesitate' and 'The Hot Summer Night is Gone and What's Left is Unremarkable.'
Jannabi, introduced as a 'rookie' at the Pentaport Rock Festival at the time of their debut, marks their 10th anniversary this year by taking the stage as headliners, making it a memorable year for the band.
