SEOUL, May 5 (Yonhap) -- Singer WOODZ made a comeback with his fourth mini album ‘COLORFUL TRAUMA’ for the first time in 7 months.
During an online press conference on the 4th, WOODZ introduced this album explaining that “This album is the most satisfying album when I listened to the completed version.”
He said, “Everyone has bad memories or traumas, but I wanted to give a message that they are left with diverse colors of life after time has passed.”
A title song ‘I hate you’ is a song to a lover who left the speaker of the song.
The song describes the feeling of being unable to accept the breakup, although the speaker of the song says outwardly that ‘I hate you too, and I can live a happier life without you.’
WOODZ explained, “I was heavily influenced by rock or band music,” laughing, “It is an exciting song, but I did not want to write lyrics in bright mood. Once you listen to it all, I hope you will be like, ‘Oh, what is it? I feel like I should listen to it again.’”
In this album, WOODZ recommended ‘Dirt on my leather,’ a song added with a spoon of rock band spirit.
WOODZ participated in writing and composing all of the songs for the album.
