SEOUL,July 27 (Yonhap) -- The Webtoon version of popular S. Korean drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” will be updated periodically as a formal Webtoon every Thursday, announced Naver Webtoon on Wednesday.
The first episode of the webtoon version of S. Korean popular drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” which is fully produced by the production company of the drama AStory, will be uploaded at 10 p.m. on Wednesday and will be uploaded weekly.
The webtoon version of the drama will feature 60 episodes, written by Yu Il, and drawn by the illustrator Hwa Um-Jo. The webtoon version of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” will feature unique episodes that did not air through the drama.
According to the Naver Webtoon, after servicing “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” in South Korea, they plans to provide the webtoon in English, Japanese, Chinese and more to target the global fan base.
Naver Webtoon previously flipped S. Korean dramas into webtoons such as television network JTBC’s “She Would Never Know,” SBS’s “Lovers of the Red Sky,” KBS’s “Good doctor” and more.
