SEOUL, August 19 (Yonhap) -- Crime thriller movie “A Hard Day,” starring Lee Sun-kyun, will be remaid into webtoon, eight years after its release.
Webtoon based on the movie “A Hard Day” will be published at 10 p.m. Aug. 20, contents platform Ridi announced on Friday.
Movie “A Hard Day,” released in 2014, gathered 3.5 million audiences and was invited to Directors’ Fortnight of 2014 Cannes Film Festival with impassioned acting of Lee Sun-kyun and Cho Jin-woong.
The webtoon, with the same title as the movie, depicted the same story of a main character who gets involved in crimes, while changing the character’s gender to female. Original work’s fascinating action scenes were maximized with webtoon’s unique features.
RIDI official showed excitement saying, “The webtoon will capture the hearts of not only the original work fans, but also the action thriller fans with its shocking action and fast story developments.”
