SEOUL, Aug. 14 (Yonhap) -- First-generation K-pop girl group Baby V.O.X will hold its first solo concert in 23 years next month, the group’s agency Zenith C&M said Thursday.
The concert, titled “Back to V.O.X: New Breath,” will take place Sept. 26-27 at Kyung Hee University’s Grand Peace Palace in Seoul.
Debuting in 1997, Baby V.O.X rose to fame with hit songs such as “Get Up” and “Killer,” before halting activities after the release of its seventh full-length album “Ride West” in 2004.
Last year, all five members appeared together on KBS’ year-end music program “2024 KBS Song Festival Global Festival,” drawing attention. A video of their performance garnered more than 10 million views on YouTube.
The upcoming concerts will mark Baby V.O.X’s first since 2002. The group plans to perform its past hits and deliver special messages to fans.
According to the agency, ticket sales began Aug. 12 via Ticket Link and quickly topped the daily concert reservation rankings.
“The solo concert will shed new light on the roots of K-pop and deliver a deep resonance across generations,” the agency said.
