SEOUL, Sept. 19 (Yonhap) -- Movie "Possession" (Literal Translation) starring Gang Dong-won and Huh Joon-ho has begun shooting, its distributor CJ ENM announced on Monday.
The movie unfolds as fake exorcist PhD Cheon takes a case of possessed girl. The original work is a webtoon of the same name by writer Kim Hong-tae.
Gang Dong-won plays PhD Cheon who solves case with great insight although he has never heard or seen a ghost, while Huh Joon-ho plays Beom-cheon who seeks shaman's spiritual power. Lee Dong-hwi was cast for PhD Cheon's partner Kang and Kim Jong-soo for Hwang who has a long history with PhD cheon.
This is a directorial debut of Director Kim Sung-shik, who was an assistant director for movies "Parasite" and "Decision to Leave "
