BTS' 'ON' exceeds 600 MLN views on YouTube

SEOUL April 9 (Yonhap) -- BTS's 'ON' Kinetic Manifesto Film surpassed 600 MLN views on YouTube, according to their agency Big Hit Music on the 9th.

The video reached the milestone at 8:41 a.m. on that day. This marks BTS's 13th video to exceed 600 million views.

'ON' serves as the title track of BTS's fourth studio album 'Map of the Soul: 7'. It's a powerful hip-hop genre song reflecting the members' determination to accept the path fate has laid out for them.

The 'ON' Kinetic Manifesto Film features BTS alongside over 30 dancers and a marching band in a large-scale performance video. It highlights various elements such as members' drum performances and dance breaks, providing viewers with captivating visuals.

Since its release in February 2020, 'ON' achieved the 4th position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the album containing the song topped the Billboard 200 chart.

BTS's fourth album topped both the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) '2020 Global All Format Chart' and the '2020 Global Album Sales Chart'.
