SEOUL, July 25 (Yonhap) --The National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage announced on Monday that it has published the revised and expanded version of the "Dictionary of Korean Archaeology-Bronze Age," supplemented with the latest research outcomes.

The dictionary contains a total of 2,132 entries including 221 terms and 1,911 archaeological sites.

Volumes I and II , which is about Korea, is composed with the latest research results regarding the Bronze age, while Volume III contains details about archaeological sites, artifacts and related terms about other countries to help understand the extensive Bronze Age cultures within Northeast Asia alongside the Korean Peninsula.

Additionally, this revised and extended version has put forward with "Hangeul Standardization of Bronze Age terminology," allowing one to comprehend and utilize the materials related to the Bronze Age even better.

One will be able to see the dictionary on the Cultural Heritage Research Knowledge Web Portal (http://portal.nrich.go.kr).
