Laneige launches upgraded 'Neo Cushion'with enhanced coverage, lasting power

SEOUL, March 24 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's global beauty brand Laneige said Tuesday that it has released an upgraded version of its signature “Neo Cushion,” strengthening both coverage and longevity.

 

The renewal, the first in three years since 2023, enhances the two lines — “The Matte” and “The Glow” — to better suit different skin needs.

 

The newly introduced “Neo Cushion The Matte” improves coverage and wear. Its three types of pore-targeting powder help cover pores and uneven skin texture from multiple angles, creating a smooth, matte finish. A triple-layer adhesion-boosting system keeps makeup firmly in place, maintaining its initial coverage and adherence for extended periods. The formula also contains key skincare ingredients to ensure a comfortable feel without dryness despite its matte finish.

 

“Neo Cushion The Glow,” on the other hand, applies Glow Refining Technology to create smoother skin texture with continued use and a naturally radiant complexion from within. A combination of diamond powder and Hydra Glow Oil enhances adherence compared with previous versions, allowing for a clean, hydrated glow that lasts without caking or lifting over time.

 

Meanwhile, Laneige is launching a campaign for “Neo Cushion” with its global ambassador Jin of BTS. Under the message “Cushion, ultimately Neo or Neo,” Jin showcases both a refined matte look and a soft, warm glow look, highlighting the contrasting appeal of the two products.

 

“I’m excited to present the new campaign for Laneige Neo Cushion,” Jin said. “I will continue to meet fans through various activities, including album releases and concerts. Please show lots of interest and support for me, BTS and Laneige.”

 

The “Neo Cushion The Matte” and “The Glow” became available starting March 23 at Olive Young stores and major online malls. Campaign videos and pictorials featuring Jin will be released sequentially through Laneige’s official social media channels.
