SEOUL September 24 (Yonhap) -- South Korean film director Park Sye-young’s debut feature film “The Fifth Thoracic Vertebra“ received an invitation to the 55th Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival, announced distributor IndieStroy.

“The Fifth Thoracic Vertebra” was included within the section of “Noves Vision” which are specifically for newly debuted directors.

The movie “The Fifth Thoracic Vertebra” is about a monster which comes to life from a thrown out mattress later on roams around Seoul eating peoples’ thoracic vertebras.

The 55th Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival will be held in Sitges Spain starting on October 6 up until October 16.
