SEOUL April 24 (Yonhap) -- SBS announced on the 24th that the drama "Revenant," starring actors Kim Tae-ri, Oh Jung-se, and Hong Kyung, received an award at the 2024 New York Festival TV & Film Awards.
At this year's ceremony, Korean dramas such as "Revenant," "Reborn Rich," "Doctor Cha," and "The Good Bad Mother" were nominated as finalists, with "Revenant" ultimately winning the top prize.
Lee Ok-kyu, the responsible producer stated, "'Revenant' dealt with the concerns of young people in reality and the economic inequality they face, while presenting itself as an occult mystery genre piece, offering support and comfort." He added, "We extend our gratitude to writer Kim Eun-hee for successfully fulfilling this challenging mission."
The New York Festival TV & Film Awards, which began in 1957, announced this year's winners on the 16th (US time).
