SEOUL, Apr. 26 (Yonhap) – “SMTOWN LIVE 2022 : SMCU EXPRESS @TOKYO,” where major artists from SM Entertainment all participate, will be held at Tokyo Dome in Japan from Aug. 27 to 28, according to SM Entertainment on Tuesday.
It is SM Town’s first offline concert in three years since 2019.
Singers Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation’s Tae-yeon·Hyo-yeon, SHINee’s Onew·Key·Min-ho, Red Velvet, NCT, and aespa will join the concert.
In particular, besides EXO’s Suho and Kai, Chen, who has been discharged from the army on Apr. 25, will also perform on the stage. Chen got married in 2020 and has become a father of two children.
“SMTOWN LIVE 2022 : SMCU EXPRESS @TOKYO” is the concert under the concept of traveling major cities around the world by riding a SMCU EXPRESS. The online concert, which was held on Jan. 1, 2022, was aired worldwide for free and 51 million people from 179 countries have watched it.
