SEOUL, Nov. 6 (Yonhap) -- Actor Byeon Woo-seok has donated 300 million won to support the treatment of pediatric patients.
According to his agency, Baro Entertainment, Byeon made the contribution last month to Severance Hospital, requesting the funds be used specifically for pediatric care. The agency disclosed that this donation was made privately by Byeon and was only later brought to their attention.
Byeon Woo-seok debuted in 2016 in the tvN drama Dear My Friends and has since appeared in Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo, Record of Youth, and Moonshine.
He recently rose to stardom playing the lead role of Ryu Seon-jae in Lovely Runner, which concluded on tvN this past May.
