SEOUL, Jan. 6 (Yonhap) --K-pop group 2NE1 will hold encore performances of their 15th-anniversary Asia tour "WELCOME BACK" in April in Seoul’s Olympic Park, YG Entertainment said on Monday.

The encore concerts will rock Seoul on April 12-13 at the KSPO Dome, the agency said.

2NE1 previously delighted fans last October with their first solo concert in a decade at the Olympic Hall in the same venue. That event was met with overwhelming support, selling out all tickets.

Last month, 2NE1 also garnered attention with their first year-end TV performance in nine years on SBS's "Gayo Daejeon."

Responding to fan demands for encore performances, the group opted for the KSPO Dome, often dubbed the "holy ground of K-pop," significantly increasing audience capacity. The venue accommodates up to 10,000 attendees per show.

For these upcoming performances, 2NE1 plans to deliver live renditions of a meticulously curated setlist, encapsulating the essence of their musical journey.

The group is currently touring Asia with stops in Manila, Jakarta, Kobe, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Bangkok, engaging fans across the region.
