SEOUL, Mar. 3 (Yonhap) -- The movie “Miss Granny” will be made into a drama.
Studio V Plus, a production company has announced on Friday that it will make a drama of the movie "Miss Granny," which attracted 8.66 million people when it was released in 2014.
"Miss Granny" tells the story of a 70-year-old grandmother, Oh Mal-soon, who once again enjoys her shining heyday after turning into 20-year-old Oh Du-ri overnight.
Actress Jung Ziso has confirmed her appearance in the role of Oh Du-ri, who will show an unpredictable charm by going back and forth between her fresh 20s and sly 70s.
Jung Ziso played the childhood of Moon Dong-eun (Song Hye-kyo) in the Netflix drama “The Glory,” and the movie "Parasite.” She will portray the process of trying to achieve her dream of becoming a singer which she couldn’t achieve at her first try in her life.
Directed by Park Yong-soon, who made the dramas "Wanted" (2016) and "Secret Mother" (2018), and written by Heo Seung-min, who wrote "There is a Bluebird" (2014) and "Risky Romance" (2018).
