SEOUL, Mar. 17 (Yonhap) -- South Korean singer-songwriter Hwang So-yoon’s “Smoke Sprite,” featuring RM of the K-pop supergroup BTS, has topped the global music platform iTunes’ Worldwide Song Chart, the artist’s agency Magic Strawberry Sound announced Friday.

The singer, the leader of the indie band Se So Neon who is also known by her stage name So!YoON!, dropped her second solo LP “Episode 1 : Love,” led by the title track “Smoke Sprite,” on Tuesday (KST).

Her latest album captures diverse sides of love and depicts the feeling as a fantasy, dream, and desire. In addition to RM, the 25-year-old also joined hands with singer-songwriter Park Ji-yoon and Y2K92’s Jibin. Jang Yoon-joo, one of the most well-known models who has credits in several films and television series, also unexpectedly made an appearance in her teaser video.

RM, whose real name is Kim Nam-joon, is known to have participated in writing and composing “Smoke Sprite.” He also appeared in the music video for the singer’s title track, which did not fail to raise the hype as hawk-eyed fans were delighted to spot him.
