SEOUL, April. 26 (Yonhap) -- Girl group NewJeans’ "Ditto" has surpassed 300 million streams on Spotify, the world's largest music platform, agency ADOR said on Wednesday.
The song has been counted to be played 3,1232,2001 times on the 24th (local time).
"It is the first time among the so-called fourth-generation K-pop girl groups to have 300 million Spotify streaming song," ADOR said. "It has been 126 days since the release of the song on December 19 last year."
After its release, "Ditto" entered both the U.S. Billboard main single chart "Hot 100" and the U.K. official single chart "Top 100", performing well on the two major charts in the pop music market. On Melon, Korea's largest music platform, it topped the chart for 99 days, the longest time ever.
The cumulative number of Spotify streams of all songs released by NewJeans so far has exceeded 1.3 billion.
