SEOUL, April. 5 (Yonhap) -- Coca-Cola CM song "Zero," released by girl group NewJeans on Monday, has ranked fourth on the Melon's "Top 100" chart, the largest music platform in Korea, on Wednesday.
According to NewJeans’ agency ADOR, the song rose after settling on each chart's "Top 10" within two hours of its release. It once topped Genie and Naver Vibe.
"It is unusual for CM song to perform so well," said ADOR. "Even though it is an advertising music that directly reveals the brand name in the lyrics, it has captivated listeners with trendy beats and unique tone of NewJeans."
The "Zero" music video has surpassed 6.32 million views on YouTube and topped Korea's "Popular Video."
