SEOUL, April 22 (Yonhap) — K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN will release their fifth full-length album “Happy Burstday” on May 26, their agency Pledis Entertainment announced Tuesday.
This marks the group's first studio album in about three years, following “Face the Sun” released in 2022.
The title “Happy Burstday” is a combination of “birthday” and “burst,” symbolizing a rebirth of SEVENTEEN as a renewed version of themselves. The release date coincides with the 10th anniversary of their debut on May 26, 2015.
“In celebration of their 10th anniversary, SEVENTEEN will connect with global fans through the fifth full album and a variety of content and performances,” said Pledis.
Ahead of the album release, the group will hold fan meetings in Japan, including events at Kyocera Dome Osaka on April 24, 26, and 27, and Saitama Super Arena on May 10 and 11.
