SEOUL, May 20 (Yonhap) -- Jin of K-pop supergroup BTS will release a remix album of his solo track "Don't Say You Love Me" at 1 p.m. Tuesday, his agency BigHit Music said.
The album features a total of eight tracks, including the original version and its instrumental, along with remixes in band, lo-fi, disco, synthwave, '90s pop, and future pop styles.
The band version layers rich instrumental sounds over the original's laid-back tone, creating the feeling of a live performance. The lo-fi remix emphasizes the melancholic mood of the track with gentle acoustic guitar.
The disco remix highlights catchy synthesizers and a funky rhythm, while the synthwave version infuses retro charm through bouncy drums and bass.
The '90s pop remix evokes nostalgia with romantic synth sounds and a bright melody, and the future pop version begins with sweet guitar arpeggios that build into a powerful string section.
"Don't Say You Love Me" captures the emotional complexity of love as both comfort and pain.
Jin is set to perform the song on NBC’s "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on May 22.
