SEOUL, Jan. 7 (Yonhap) -- Yuju from GFriend, who will release her first solo album “REC.” on Jan. 18, has participated in writing lyrics and composing most of the songs in the album, according to the agency Konnect Entertainment on Jan. 7.
Yuju participated in writing lyrics for all 5 songs of the album, from the first track “Bad Blood” to the fifth track “Blue Nostalgia,” according to the track list of “REC.,” which was released by Konnect Entertainment.
The singer also took part in composing 4 songs, along with the title song “Play.”

Moreover, many famous home and abroad musicians participated in the album, including Chancellor from the same agency. The third track “Barely, Winter” was featured by the rapper Mad Clown.
Konnect Entertainment explained, "We focused on how Yuju's feelings could be expressed to the greatest extent. A lot of efforts were put into all the tracks to be called the title song,” adding, "I hope the album could be remembered as a more meaningful one as Yuju started a new path to start new music as a solo artist.”
