Park Mi-sun to return to TV as MC in June after breast cancer treatment

SEOUL, April 17 (Yonhap) -- Comedian Park Mi-sun will return to broadcasting after suspending activities due to breast cancer treatment, industry sources said Friday.

Park will serve as the host of a new MBN entertainment program tentatively titled "Is It Burning," set to air in June.

The show is a reality program focusing on the lives of celebrities’ families, with Park leading the program as a studio MC. Her husband, comedian Lee Bong-won, is also expected to appear.

It marks her first time hosting a program in about a year and a half since "Now I’m Alone" on TV Chosun and "Second Marriage War: To Live or Not" on LG HelloVision, both of which ended in December 2024.

Park previously revealed her diagnosis and treatment process on the tvN talk show "You Quiz on the Block" in November last year, saying she underwent 16 rounds of radiation therapy and is currently receiving medication treatment.
