SEOUL, Oct. 30 (Yonhap) -- In response to the dismissal of former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin's request for a provisional injunction demanding her reinstatement, Hybe has signaled a swift move to stabilize ADOR operations, according to internal communications.
K-pop music industry sources reported on Wednesday that Hybe CEO Lee Jae-sang sent an email to Hybe staff shortly after the court's decision, stating, “With the court ruling, the seven months of ongoing confusion have reached a turning point, and the path to resolving various issues has become clearer.”
He added, “The company aims to quickly normalize ADOR’s operations, and we hope to make meaningful progress soon in the contract renewal with NewJeans’ producer Min Hee-jin."
Emphasizing Hybe’s commitment to NewJeans' growth, CEO Lee noted, “Although challenges lie ahead, as we’ve consistently stated, the company is fully committed to supporting NewJeans in becoming an even more globally renowned artist.”

Lee's announcement came in the wake of the firm's prolonged internal and external strain, impacting Hybe’s public image, with CEO Lee previously apologizing for issues surrounding leaked internal documents related to the ADOR dispute.
Lee reflected in the email, “This has served as a reminder of the extensive work required to make Hybe a better company and to continually improve the music industry environment. We must revisit and reassess overlooked areas to determine if past achievements truly align with our standards.”
He also addressed potential organizational restructuring, noting, “The issues exposed during this dispute will be resolved, even if it takes time. We are considering personnel changes to support stability in operations.” He assured staff that, “While we will correct necessary areas and hold people accountable where warranted, this approach is essential for developing a transparent and advanced K-pop industry. Following principles is the most prudent course.”
Additionally, Hybe announced a town hall meeting for employees at its headquarters in Yongsan, Seoul, to further discuss the matter.
