SEOUL, March 5 (Yonhap) -- ‘Eternal Oppa’ Nam Jin will kick off his 60th-anniversary nationwide tour on the 15th at Samsung Culture Hall in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, concert organizer M-Sten announced on Wednesday.
Following his performance in Jeonju, Nam Jin will visit Gwangmyeong Citizens’ Sports Center on the 22nd, Gwangju’s Kim Dae-jung Convention Center on the 29th, Halla Gymnasium in Jeju on April 12, Daeyang Hall at Sejong University in Seoul on April 26, and Songdo Convensia in Incheon on June 1.
During the concert, he will perform live renditions of his greatest hits, including With You, My Heart to You, and Nest, accompanied by a live band. The event will also feature special guest appearances.
Since his debut in 1965, Nam Jin has been known as the ‘Eternal Oppa,’ leaving behind numerous hit songs and remaining active through TV appearances and performances.
He expressed gratitude to his fans, stating, “Thanks to the unwavering love and support from my fans over the past 60 years, I am still able to stand on stage.” He added, “This nationwide tour will be a stage of appreciation, shared with everyone who has been part of my musical journey.”
Nam Jin further remarked, “Through this concert, I hope to create a musical connection between the past and present and share the deep emotions of trot with a new generation. For the elderly who have endured life’s hardships, this will be a heartfelt stage of gratitude.”
