SEOUL, June 26 (Yonhap) -- Shin Ji, a member of the mixed-gender group Koyote, will release a duet titled "Shalaka Doola" with her fiance Moon Won at 6 p.m. on Thursday, ahead of their wedding set for the first half of next year.
According to agency JG Star Entertainment, "Shalaka Doola" is a mid-tempo ballad capturing the clumsy, fluttering emotions of love that arrives like magic. Shin Ji and Moon Won deliver the feelings of budding romance with a tender and sincere tone.
Moon Won, who sings alongside Shin Ji in the duet, debuted as a singer in 2012 with the song "Live with Me" and is seven years younger than her. The couple reportedly developed a serious relationship after first meeting when Moon appeared as a guest on the radio show "Single Bungle Show," hosted by Shin Ji.
Following reports of their engagement, Shin Ji wrote on social media, “We’re happily dating, and I’ll make sure to personally share the news of our wedding next year.”
Shin Ji debuted in 1998 as the main vocalist of Koyote, which produced numerous hits including "Pure Love," "Broken Heart," "Passion," "Blue," and "Disco King."
