SEOUL, Feb. 27 (Yonhap) -- Girl group NewJeans' hit song "Ditto" has surpassed 200 million cumulative streams on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, accoding to its agency ADOR on Monday.
"Ditto," a track in the single "OMG," recorded 2,839,307 cumulative streaming times as of the 25th. This is 68 days after the release of the song on December 19 last year, and it is the shortest period of time until 200 million streaming.
It is the second time that NewJeans has recorded 200 million streams on Spotify after its debut song “Hype Boy.”
“Ditto” had previously achieved 100 million streams within 32 days of its release.
Since its debut, the cumulative total number of streaming six songs has exceeded 900 million.
