SEOUL, March 7 (Yonhap) -- Singer Lee Seung-yoon will be tying the knot this month with his longtime girlfriend, who is a non-celebrity, his agency announced on Friday.
According to the statement posted on Lee’s fan cafe by his agency Marumo, “The bride-to-be is an ordinary office worker who has been a source of great emotional support for Lee over the years."
The agency said the soon-to-be-couple's wedding ceremony will be "held as a private family gathering to mark the beginning of their journey as a married couple.” The firm added that the wedding will be held behind closed doors, and no further details will be disclosed.
Lee also shared a handwritten letter with fans, stating, “On a day in March, I will be getting married. I met someone nine years ago, and throughout those years, we have experienced so much together—moments of helplessness, small joys, overwhelming waves, and dreams that felt too grand. Through it all, we have laughed, cried, and supported each other.”
He continued, “As we have always done, we will live our lives quietly and beautifully. And just as I always have, I will continue to make music as loudly and joyfully as possible.”
