On the 3rd, Son played a home game for the 2021-2022 EPL’s 14th round against Brentford at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in England. He marked the league’s 5th goal scoring a winning shot in the last 20 minutes. His club won by 2-0.
After rocking the net receiving a pass from Sergio Reguilón, Son celebrated the score with a gesture of Spider-man shooting out webs. Later he didn’t forget the camera ceremony as well.
The special ceremony was interpreted as Son being aware of Tom Holland’s announcing that he is a fan of Tottenham. Holland plays the main role, Spider-man, in the upcoming film “Spider-Man: No Way Home.”
Holland said that he was Tottenham’s fan during an interview with GQ in November.
Also, Oli Franklin-Wallis of GQ mentioned, “His (Holland’s) favorite player is Son,” on his Twitter page.
The football club posted Son and Holland’s photo on their official social media with a caption, “The Sonny-verse is expanding. Welcome, Holland!” “Sonny-verse” is conjunction of “Sonny,” Son’s nickname and “universe.”
